The former British Empire and Commonwealth connection have left various influences in different countries. Cricket didn’t catch on with the Canadians, but it’s hugely popular in India and Pakistan, as well as the Indian and Pakistani communities in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Canada, and United Kingdom itself.
When we’re in Sunnybrook Park to launch the toy rocket, I saw a game of cricket, not that I undertood the rules.
