Cricket is almost a religion in India. Early mornings at any open ground shows people playing the revered game irrespective of the day of the week.
The oval is one of the larger prime recreational grounds in Mumbai.
A 22 acre ground maintained in beautiful condition, you always end up seeing a number of cricket or soccer matches being played simultaneously at any given time of the day.
