Machlee Shoaib Akhtar ki yaad mein…after pak losing the T20 Canada Final
No disrespect to Shoaib, but it was painfully obvious that he was simply not up to par today, with a horrible economy giving up 40 runs in 3 overs. The spinners had done an incredible job in picking up wickets and slowing the run rate, and Gul bowled very well also. It was the right decision to include Shoaib Akhtar in the squad, but I think it’s clear that his fitness and performance need improvement. Hopefully he can work hard and bounce back, but he should also keep in mind that every illustrious career should have a graceful end.
